Job summary

The Lab Education Centre is expanding and seeks a passionate Game Development Teacher proficient in Chinese. You will join at an exciting expansion stage, contributing to game development programmes for students.

You will teach game development and programming to children and teenagers, guide design and coding, and help refine our curriculum while supporting Chinese-language resources. Weekend work is required, with Mon/Tue off.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the Singapore Education System.
• A grade in Chinese at both O-Level and A-Level.
• Higher Chinese is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Strong interest or experience in game development, programming or computer science.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently.
• Creative, curious and willing to experiment with new ideas.
• Need to be able to work on weekends; Monday and Tuesday off.

The Lab Education Centre is expanding, and we are looking for a passionate and capable Game Development Teacher who is proficient in Chinese to join our growing team.

This is more than a teaching role. You will be joining us at an exciting stage of expansion and product development, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and refinement of our game development programmes for students.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Teaching game development and programming to children and teenagers
• Guiding students through game design, coding and creative problem-solving
• Supporting the development and improvement of our game development curriculum
• Contributing ideas and feedback during the product development process
• Creating an engaging and encouraging learning environment for students
• Supporting the development of Chinese-language learning resources and programmes

Requirements
