Job summary

IRIS GALERIE is seeking a Gallery Sales Advisor for our Singapore team (Sentosa, Jewel Changi & Haji Lane). You will welcome guests, explain the iris photography experience, and guide customers from initial contact to sale.

We value a sales-driven, customer-focused approach, with the ability to upsell, manage the customer journey and work weekends according to gallery hours. Training and commission-based incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, hospitality, luxury, tourism or a customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Strong commercial mindset with a passion for sales and service.
• Able to engage proactively with diverse guests and handle objections confidently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and create a warm, personalised gallery experience.
• Explain the Iris Galerie concept and photography experience to guests.
• Guide customers through the journey from first contact to final purchase.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to meet targets.
• Operate the gallery floor, POS, and cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain gallery presentation and stock levels while collaborating with the team.

From the moment a guest enters the gallery to the final reveal, we create an emotional, memorable and highly personalised experience. Our Gallery Sales Advisors play a key role in making this experience successful while achieving strong commercial results.

We are looking for passionate, energetic and sales-driven Gallery Sales Advisors to join our Singapore team and contribute to the continued development of IRIS GALERIE.

YOUR ROLE

As a Gallery Sales Advisor, you are the face and ambassador of IRIS GALERIE. You will welcome our guests, create a memorable experience and guide them throughout their customer journey, from the first interaction to the final purchase.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Customer Experience & Sales

• Proactively welcome and engage with visitors entering the gallery.
• Create a warm, personalised and memorable customer experience.
• Introduce and explain the IRIS GALERIE concept and confidently present the iris photography experience.
• Advise guests needs, preferences through effective questioning and active listening.
• Guide customers through the experience, including the photography, reveal and product selection.
• Present our different formats, finishes and complementary products according to customer needs.
• Handle customer questions, hesitations and objections with confidence and professionalism.
• Develop opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products.
• Build trust and create an emotional connection with customers to support the purchase decision.
• Take ownership of the customer journey from first contact through to closing the sale.
• Achieve individual and gallery sales and conversion targets.

Gallery Operations

• Maintain excellent gallery presentation, cleanliness and visual standards at all times.
• Ensure appropriate stock levels and support stock management.
• Receive and process deliveries and packages.
• Operate the POS and cash desk accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow all operational, security and cash-handling procedures.
• Use the photography and digital tools required to capture, process and present customers' iris images.
• Ensure a smooth and professional customer experience throughout the photography and production process.

Performance & Teamwork

• Actively participate in daily sales briefings, coaching and performance reviews.
• Share customer feedback, successful sales techniques and conversion opportunities with the team.
• Continuously develop product knowledge, sales techniques and customer engagement skills.
• Contribute ideas and experiments to improve conversion, average transaction value and overall gallery performance.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve and exceed gallery objectives.

PROFILE

• Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, luxury, tourism or another customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Strong commercial mindset with a genuine passion for sales and customer service.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging with customers proactively.
• Confident communicating with different customer profiles and nationalities.
• Strong ability to listen, understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Comfortable handling objections and confidently asking for the sale.
• Results-oriented and motivated by achieving targets.
• Excellent communication skills other languages are a strong advantage.
• Comfortable using digital tools, POS systems and basic office applications.
• Available to work according to gallery opening hours, including weekends and public holidays

Contract: Part-time > Promotion full time possible

Compensation: Base + commission based on clear performance targets
