Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the OneService platform, coordinating operations, integrations, and service delivery for government agencies and Town Councils in Singapore.

You will manage day-to-day operations, engage external partners, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, strong performance, and timely releases. A strong background in IT operations and stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in IT operations, system management, or technical project management.
• Strong problem-solving and solutioning skills across teams.
• Proven experience managing backend systems with external integrations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud systems, and data flow management.
• Familiarity with Whole-of-Government (WOG) systems and processes.
• Experience working with government agencies or public sector environments.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the operational activities of the One Service system. This national platform facilitates seamless integration between multiple government agencies and Town Councils, ensuring high availability and service delivery efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations, handling integration processes with external partners, and ensuring smooth collaboration between agencies, technical teams, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Project Management

• Oversee the operational functionality andreliability of the OneService system, ensuringoptimal system uptime and performance
• Act as the primary operations lead for issues, enhancements, and release coordination
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track service levels, implementing corrective actions where necessary

System Integration & Stakeholder Coordination

• Manage the integration process for externalsystems (e.g., agency and Town Council backends)with OneService
• Ensure smooth onboarding, system upgrades, and data flow management between agencies and third-party systems
• Coordinate across internal and external technical teams, including vendors, agencies, and Town Councils, ensuring seamless communication and alignment

Change, Incident, and Release Management

• Support and manage incident response andresolution for system-related issues, ensuring clearcommunication and timely resolution
• Coordinate change management and release processes, including testing, deployment, and stakeholder communications
• Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend operational improvements

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the main liaison for third-party vendorsand system integrators, managing escalations andservice delivery
• Act as the lead for client relationship management with agencies and Town Councils involved in One Service integration
• Track and report on service metrics and vendor performance, escalating issues as necessary

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain comprehensive system documentation,integration protocols, and operational playbooks
• Ensure compliance with government IT policies, data security standards, and operational governance requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, ComputerScience, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5+ years experience in IT operations, system management, or technical project management
• Strong problem-solving and solutioning skills to address diverse challenges across different teams.
• Proven experience managing backend systems with external integrations
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud systems, and data flow management
• Familiarity with Whole-of-Government (WOG)systems and processes will be an advantage.
• Experience working with government agencies, public sector systems, or related environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams (technical, vendor, agency)
