Job summary

Nomura Singapore seeks an experienced QA professional to assure FX market making and algorithmic trading systems. You will implement Java-based test automation, API and performance tests, and UI automation for React/Vue.js apps, with FX domain focus.

You will collaborate with teams in Singapore and London to deliver reliable, low-latency trading infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust release processes. A strong CS degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years in financial services QA, with minimum 3+ years specifically in FX/trading systems.
• Proven technical expertise in Java-based test automation (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber), API testing, performance testing for low-latency systems, and UI automation (Selenium, Playwright) for React/Vue.js applications
• Proven FX domain experience including FIX protocol testing, regulatory reporting validation, and real-time trading system testing
• Experience of CI / CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitLab) with large Gradle build systems would be beneficial
• Exceptional attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities across technical and business teams, and innovative approach to automation and process improvement
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and ability to effectively leverage them while maintaining code quality standards
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited education institution

• Collaborate with Singapore and London teams to ensure high-quality delivery for 24/5 FX operations
