Job summary

Citi is actively seeking a hands-on FX Technology role within Technology's Applications Development group. The position focuses on implementing and enhancing FX trading systems, requiring deep technical skills and the ability to collaborate with sales, trading and product teams across Citi's global network.

Qualifications

• FX knowledge strongly preferred.
• Understanding of low-latency development practices.
• Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems and renovating existing ones.
• Broad systems knowledge (software, hardware, networks) to design solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent communicator who can collaborate across teams and levels of the enterprise.
• Hands-on engineer capable of deep-diving into codebases and providing constructive feedback.
• Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical implementation of FX trading systems.
• Collaborate with FX Technology teams to implement solutions that benefit the business.
• Drive the design and development of system architecture with end-users and maintain documentation.
• Define and implement best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency across teams.
• Work directly with sales, trading and product teams.
