Job summary

OCBC Group is seeking an FX Operations Officer, Assistant Manager, to join OCBC Singapore. You will ensure timely processing of FX transactions, verify confirmations, and support cash management activities, expediting settlements while maintaining compliance and controls.

The role provides exposure to Global Markets Equities operations and regulatory reporting within a leading Asian bank. The position emphasizes meticulous investigation, proactive problem solving, and collaboration with traders,

Qualifications

• Degree in business, accounting, economics or sciences.
• 1–2 years' experience in treasury or cash management.
• Experience in financial institutions acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Verify FX confirmations with counterparties and TRs/clients.
• Compile and monitor FX exposures for hedging.
• Prepare settlement instructions and post journal entries.
• Assist cash management with fund transfers and deposits.
• Perform reconciliations of placements against bank statements.
• Prepare regulatory reports on FX exposures.
• Support automation and data analytics to improve efficiency.
• Respond to ad-hoc queries from TRs.
