Job summary

TikTok LIVE Data Platform is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications across web frontends, backend services, APIs, and AI-native workflows, collaborating with product managers, data engineers, AI engineers, and infrastructure teams.

You will build intelligent data products such as analytics platforms, diagnostic systems, BI tools, AI Agents, and data management platforms that empower millions of users and internal stakeholders to make better decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Strong foundation in modern web development and frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience building backend services and APIs with Java/Go/Python/Node.js.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Familiar with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Good written and verbal English for cross-functional collaboration.
• Desire to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for TikTok LIVE Data Platform, including web apps, backend services, APIs, and AI-native workflows.
• Build intelligent data products such as analytics platforms, diagnostic systems, BI tools, AI Agents, and data management platforms.
• Collaborate with product, data, AI, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, reliable, high-performance solutions.
• Explore AI-native development paradigms using LLMs to enhance capabilities and productivity.
• Improve engineering quality via reusable architecture, tooling, testing, and performance optimization.
