Job summary

TikTok is seeking engineers to build and optimize a real-time, high-performance distributed infrastructure for live streaming. You will engage in the lifecycle of core product features and work closely with product managers to deliver the best live streaming experience for creators and audiences worldwide.

You will help build platforms for data processing and storage, including streaming, OLAP, and KV stores, and support TikTok app and backstage data applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software development, CS, or related discipline.
• Experience with scalable, distributed, and mission-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of computer architectures, data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Self-driven, proactive and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead large-scale technical projects for product scale.
• Develop robust, high-performance live streaming infrastructure for 1B users.
• Contribute to engineering strategy, tooling, processes, and culture.
• Research and apply knowledge to delivery of core product features.
