Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is recruiting a passionate Software Engineer to join our development team in Changi, Singapore. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, partnering with stakeholders and QA teams to deliver value in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong Angular, Node.js, SQL, and API skills, with Agile delivery experience and a commitment to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable web apps with Angular, Node.js and SQL databases.
• Strong RESTful API design and API integration skills.
• Familiarity with Agile software delivery and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications.
• Develop front-end solutions using Angular, HTML5, CSS3 and Ant Design.
• Build back-end services and RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize database structures, queries and integrations with MariaDB/Sequelize.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications and system diagrams.
• Support production deployments, incidents, and post-release activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members.
