Job summary

East Asia Institute of Management Pte. Ltd. invites applications for full-time teachers to deliver Singapore Cambridge GCE A level and O level subjects. You will report to the Academic Director and conduct engaging lessons aligned with MOE syllabus.

The role includes developing lesson plans, monitoring progress, providing targeted interventions, preparing students for exams, and mentoring learners to achieve academic excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 3 years of teaching/working experience.
• Entry-level with excellent grades may be considered for the positions.
• Prior teaching experience in a local secondary school or junior college will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic and committed to student success.
• Strong passion for teaching and ability to motivate students to achieve academic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more of the following subjects on a full-time basis for Singapore Cambridge GCE A level and O level: General Paper, Mathematics, Chinese, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Management of Business, Principles of Accounting.

• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the latest MOE syllabus.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback.
• Identify students’ strengths and learning gaps, and provide timely targeted interventive support.
• Prepare students for examinations through practice papers, revision lessons, and exam strategies/techniques.
• Set and mark test papers and examination papers.
• Mentor and guide students.
• Foster a positive, conducive and motivating learning environment.

• Combined Humanities (Social Studies/ History)

• Combined Humanities (Social Studies / Geography)

• Business Studies

• Principles of Accounting
