Aestral Learning Hub is seeking a Student Care Mentor to guide primary school children through homework, revision, and daily learning activities. You will help students develop habits, independence, and confidence while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

You will communicate with parents about progress and well-being, support structured learning programmes, including digital activities, and assist with daily operations and student arrivals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with children, preferably at primary school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide children and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Experience in student care, tuition, enrichment or school settings.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s primary school curriculum and homework requirements.

About the role

As a Student Care Mentor, you will play an important role in guiding children through their daily homework, revision and learning activities while helping them develop positive study habits, independence and confidence. Beyond academic support, you will encourage children's social and emotional development, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and communicate with parents about their children’s progress and well-being.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Genuine passion for nurturing and supporting children’s learning and development.
• WSQ Student Care, Early Childhood certificate or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in student care, tuition, enrichment or school settings.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s primary school curriculum and homework requirements.
• Basic familiarity with digital learning tools.
