Job summary

StrongKeep, a Singapore-based cybersecurity startup, seeks a Senior Developer/Technical Lead to own GEN 2 delivery and the Compliance module end-to-end. You will lead a small team, shape architecture, code quality, and shipping pace, while remaining hands-on.

You’ll work with LLM/AI-powered workflows, secure coding practices, and a multi-tenant SaaS. The role emphasizes weekly feature delivery and mentorship in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including direct technical leadership or founding-engineer experience.
• This role is based on-site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Own GEN 2 delivery and the Compliance module: architecture, roadmap and shipping.
• Lead and mentor a small engineering team; run code reviews, set quality and testing standards, level up juniors.
• Design and build secure, scalable backend and frontend across our stack (TypeScript, Node/Express, React/Next.js, MongoDB).
• Develop APIs, services and integrations with internal systems and third-party security platforms.
• Maintain high code quality through testing, documentation and secure coding practices in a multi-tenant SaaS.
• Work with the PM, designer and engineers to ship features weekly in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in sprints and daily standups; own reliability, performance and incident response for your modules.

The role

This full-time, on-site Senior Developer / Technical Lead owns the technical delivery of StrongKeep's platform on a lean 7-person team. You will lead a small group of engineers, own our GEN 2 delivery and the Compliance module end-to-end, and set the bar for architecture, code quality and shipping pace. You are equally comfortable writing the hard code yourself and unblocking the people around you.

A strong interest in AI (LLMs, GenAI, agentic workflows) is expected. We build AI-assisted development into our daily workflow (Claude Code and similar), and the product itself is moving toward embedded intelligence and automation.

You will work closely with a locally-based, multi-disciplinary team, engineers, a designer and a PM, mentoring junior engineers while staying hands-on yourself.

Key responsibilities

Technical leadership

Qualifications

Technical skills

• Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js and React/Next.js, plus experience with NoSQL (MongoDB/Mongoose) and SQL databases.
• Solid REST API design and integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure welcome) and containerised deployment (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ownership of multi-tenant SaaS architecture (data isolation, auth, tenancy).
• Familiarity with secure coding principles and software engineering best practices.
• Bonus: cybersecurity-product domain experience; familiarity with LLMs / AI tooling and a willingness to go deep.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers in a flat, fast-moving team.
• Thrives in startup chaos: ambiguous scope, multiple hats, weekly shipping.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• Self-directed learner who enjoys experimenting with new tools and techniques.
