Job summary

Cloudsine, a Singapore-based web and GenAI security technology company, invites an engineering leader to own the delivery of our technical roadmap and mentor a growing team.

You will drive architecture decisions, coordinate with product, DevOps, and research, and ensure scalable, secure delivery of WebOrion, GenaI ProtectorPlus, and TraceCtrl across enterprise and public sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 1-2 years in a people-management role.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with Python, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Node.js.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the engineering roadmap.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across agile startup workflows.
• Translate roadmap into sprint plans, technical specifications, and shipped releases.
• Work with DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment practices support velocity and reliability.
• Collaborate with the AI Cyber Research team to productionize research findings.
• Support the Technical Director on architecture decisions for Enterprise & Public Sector engagements.
• Hire, mentor, and grow the engineering team, including performance management.
• Uphold code quality, security best practices, and scalability across products.

Cloudsine (https://www.cloudsine.tech) is an up and coming Web and GenAI security technology company headquartered in Singapore. Our flagship software, WebOrion® (https://www.weborion.io), is already trusted and used by large enterprise customers such as Banks, Government, Telcos, and Large Forbes Global 2000 companies spread across Asia including Australia, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Now, we're taking on the next frontier: building an AI Security Platform to defend against AI attacks such as Prompt Injection, Data Poisoning, etc from OWASP Top10 for LLM. What you will be working on:

• Own end-to-end delivery of the engineering roadmap for CloudsineAI's product suite, including WebOrion®, GenaI ProtectorPlus and TraceCtrl Agentic AI Security Platform
• Provide hands-on technical leadership -architecture decisions, code reviews, sprint planning, and release management -across both agile and fast-moving startup workflows
• Partner closely with the Product Manager to translate the product roadmap into sprint plans, technical specifications, andshipped releases
• Work with DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipelines,infrastructure, and deployment practices support engineering velocity and platform reliability
• Collaborate with the AI Cyber Research team to productionize research findings - turning novel detection techniques and security models into shippable, scalable features
• Support the Technical Director on technical scoping and architecture decisions for Enterprise & Public Sector customization and onsite engagements
• Hire, mentor, and grow the engineering team,including performance management and career development for direct reports
• Uphold code quality, security best practices,and scalability standards across products serving both our Mid-Market SaaS and Enterprise & Public Sector lines of business
• Track and report engineering KPIs - delivery velocity, platform uptime, defect rates - to founding leadership
• Stay ahead of GenAI and cybersecurity engineering trends to ensure our technical practices remain industry-leading

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in ComputerScience, Engineering or equivalent
• At least 6 years of software engineeringexperience, including 1-2 years in a people-management or engineering lead role
• Strong hands-on experience in full-stackdevelopment (e.g. Python, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Node.js)
• Experience with AWS cloud-native architecture,CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems and securityconcepts is a strong plus, given our GenAI security domain
• Proven track record managing and mentoring engineering teams of 5-15 engineers
• Excellent communication skills - able to work cross-functionally with product, research, DevOps, and customer delivery stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
