Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled full stack engineer to design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications on the COMPASS platform. You will work across frontend and backend domains, ensuring accessibility, performance, and scalable APIs.

Join an Agile team focused on secure coding, code reviews, and continuous delivery. Collaboration with UI/UX designers and business users will shape robust features and reliable production support.

Qualifications

• Experience in full stack development for enterprise-grade web applications.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js and frontend tech (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Backend development with Node.js, Python or Java Spring Boot.
• Experience deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces for the COMPASS platform with accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop backend services, APIs and microservices to support business functions and data processing requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and design reusable, scalable components.
• Implement secure coding practices and comply with security requirements; perform code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Support application troubleshooting, defect resolution and production support, and share knowledge across the project team.

Job description

Job Responsibility

Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces for the COMPASS platform. Apply frontend best practices including responsive design, accessibility, performance optimisation and cross-browser compatibility, and work closely with UI/UX designers and business users to improve usability and user experience.

Develop backend services, APIs and microservices to support business functions and data processing requirements. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system features, and design and implement reusable, maintainable and scalable software components.

Implement secure coding practices and comply with LTA security requirements. Perform code reviews, unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.

Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.

Support application troubleshooting, defect resolution and production support, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the project team.

Job Requirements

• Experience in full stack application development and building enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js or equivalent frameworks, together with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python or Java Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Experience implementing frontend best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, performance optimisation, component-based architectures and state management.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, API integration and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server.
• Experience with GitLab source control, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively in an Agile team and support knowledge sharing.
