Job summary

User Experience Researchers Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned fullstack engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications and backend services.

You will work with UI/UX designers and business users, implement RESTful APIs, containerize with Docker/Kubernetes, and adopt secure coding practices within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web apps.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong backend development skills (Node.js, Python, or Java Spring Boot).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration.
• Familiarity with cloud-native apps on AWS; container tech (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server).
• Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and backend services supporting an enterprise platform.

Key Responibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and backend services supporting an enterprise platform:
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces for the platform.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices to support business functions and data processing requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system features.
• Design and implement reusable, maintainable, and scalable software components.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Apply frontend engineering best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement secure coding practices and comply with applicable security requirements.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers and business users to improve application usability and user experience.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support application troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver solutions and support knowledge sharing across the project team.

Experience & Skills Needed:

• Experience in fullstack application development and building enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as:
  • ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js, or equivalent frameworks.
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in backend development using:
  • Node.js, Python or Java Spring Boot.
• Experience implementing frontend best practices including:
  • Responsive design

  • Component-based architectures
  • State management
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, API integration, and microservices architecture.
