Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) in Singapore to join a large-scale support and maintenance project. You will work on core Java platforms with Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, React, and SQL databases, contributing across the full development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with an Agile team, implement clean, reusable code, and support production incidents. Short notice availability is a plus in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring or Spring Boot, and React.
• Public Sector or Government projects experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Git, RESTful web services, and project estimating/planning.
• Desired skills include JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux/Context API, Microservices, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience in full development lifecycle within high-performing teams.
• Able to commence within short notice.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the development team on core Java platforms, including Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, React, and SQL databases.
• Collaborate with Agile team members to identify and resolve technical impediments.
• Provide hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications.
• Participate in production support for incidents and act as an expert technical resource on new technologies and design techniques.
• Drive the reduction of duplicate processes and code through clean, reusable design.
• Communicate with project managers on a regular basis; review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members.
• Manage the queues of BAU/RTB (Run the Business) work and ensure successful, on-time delivery.
