Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join our enterprise engineering team. The role focuses on backend development, with frontend responsibilities a smaller, but important, part of the job.

You will own backend-heavy solutions across the full software lifecycle in a structured corporate environment. You will design and build backend services in Java and Kotlin, and develop frontend components with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java and Kotlin development in an enterprise setting.
• Full stack development with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Relational databases: MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning.
• Ability to work independently and own assigned tasks.
• Experience delivering production code with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Kotlin.
• Build and maintain frontend components with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
• Work with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases to support application functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with enterprise engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative development activities, including pair programming.
• Independently troubleshoot issues and implement robust solutions.
• Complete coding assignments and project tasks by strictly following documented requirements.
