Job summary

Persol Outsourcing Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and enhance high-performance applications. You will work on Golang backend and SvelteKit frontend, crafting GraphQL APIs and scalable microservices in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

The role emphasizes database work with PostgreSQL/MS SQL, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and mentoring junior engineers to strengthen engineering practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack/Software/Backend Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang, SvelteKit or modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue.js) and distributed microservices.
• Solid SQL skills in PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL; familiarity with GraphQL APIs and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Golang for backend and SvelteKit for frontend components.
• Design, develop, optimise, and maintain GraphQL APIs for data-driven applications.
• Build and maintain scalable, modular microservices architectures.
• Design and optimise databases with PostgreSQL and MS SQL; write efficient SQL queries.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Operations to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, maintainable code and testing practices.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control and automated tests.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and improve system reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
