Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD is seeking a capable Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications.

You will work across frontend and backend, creating responsive interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, React or Angular, and developing REST APIs with Java/TypeScript (Node.js). You will integrate with enterprise systems, implement event-driven messaging (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka), and deploy on Azure with Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
• Enterprise application development using Java and/or TypeScript (Node.js).
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven integrations and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka).
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure).
• Proficient in CI/CD practices and GitLab-based workflows.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using contemporary frontend and backend technologies.
• Build highly responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React.
• Develop scalable backend services and microservices using Java and/or TypeScript (Node.js).
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs to support application functionality and system integration.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise development standards.

System Integration & Data Services

• Develop and maintain integrations between the FM Platform and enterprise systems through APIs, messaging services, and data services.
• Implement event-driven integrations using messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar platforms.
• Support data exchange, synchronization, and workflow integration across multiple applications and business domains.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-system integration issues, ensuring reliable and efficient operations.
• Work with shared platform services such as authentication, notifications, workflow, scheduling, and common APIs.

Cloud Engineering & DevOps

• Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), API Management (APIM), Application Gateway, and Azure Key Vault.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Maintain source code repositories and development workflows using GitLab.

Security & Reliability

• Implement secure coding practices and enterprise security controls.
• Manage security configurations including TLS certificates, secrets management, and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, and operational health.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Product Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with product managers, service designers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to understand business workflows and user needs.
• Participate in discovery, solution design, prototyping, and implementation activities.
• Translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and release planning activities.
• Support application modernization and migration initiatives within the FM ecosystem.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate AI-powered capabilities into business applications where required.

Required Qualifications

Frontend Development
