Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a skilled Full Stack/Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Golang for backend and SvelteKit for frontend in Singapore. You will build and optimize GraphQL APIs, implement microservices, and tune PostgreSQL schemas while collaborating with product and design teams.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, code reviews, system architecture input, and performance tuning to deliver high-quality software across modular, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional full stack or backend experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang for backend development.
• Proficient in SvelteKit or modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
• Familiar with CI/CD, testing, and version control.
• Excellent problem solving, debugging and communication skills.
• AWS project experience (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, API Gateway) is a plus.
• Experience building GraphQL APIs.

• Strong SQL skills with experience in MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing, and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Familiarity with Temporal Workflow or similar orchestration frameworks.

Experience building and maintaining GraphQL APIs.

Background in performance tuning, observability, and system optimization.

Experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams.
