Job summary

OCBC Bank Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to join its Group Operations & Technology. You will design, build, and maintain scalable services and RESTful APIs, with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes or Docker, and modern front-end frameworks.

We value collaboration, rapid delivery, and a DevOps mindset, with 5+ years in Java development and a passion for quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid Java development background with experience in other languages (C#, Kotlin, Golang).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker and front-end frameworks like React or AngularJS.
• Experience translating product requirements into technical solutions and collaborating with stakeholders.

Who you are

• You have solid experience in Java development.
  
• You're proficient in at least one other programming language (C#, Kotlin, Golang).
  
• You understand Microservices and Cloud Native architectures.
  
• You've built and maintained RESTful APIs.
  
• You have experience with Cloud Native Platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker.
  
• You're familiar with JavaScript and front-end frameworks like React or AngularJS.
  
• Mobile app development experience is a plus.
  
• You have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
