Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring or Spring Boot, and React.
• Experience in Public Sector or Government projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Git, RESTful web services, and project estimating/planning.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the development team on core Java platforms, including Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, React, and SQL databases.
• Collaborate with Agile team members to identify and resolve technical impediments.
• Provide hands-on development as well as support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications.
• Participate in production support for incidents and act as a technical resource on new technologies and design techniques.
• Drive reduction of duplicate processes and code through clean, reusable design.
• Communicate with project managers; review and approve documentation and diagrams.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team for a large-scale support and maintenance project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java technologies, including Core Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, React, and SQL databases, and will be part of the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of the project and maintaining high standards of software quality.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the development team on core Java platforms, including Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, React, and SQL databases.


• Collaborate with Agile team members to identify and resolve technical impediments.


• Provide hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications.


• Participate in production support for incidents and act as an expert technical resource on new technologies and design techniques.


• Drive the reduction of duplicate processes and code through clean, reusable design.


• Communicate with project managers on a regular basis; review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members.


• Manage the queues of BAU/RTB (Run the Business) work and ensure successful, on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Java/J2EE, Spring or Spring Boot, and React.


• Prior experience in Public Sector or Government projects preferred.


• Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git), RESTful web services, and project estimating/planning.


• Desired skills: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux/Context API, Microservices architecture, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle).


• Experience working in high-performing teams through the full development lifecycle.


• Able to commence within short notice.
