Job summary

OCBC Group Wealth is seeking a senior Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable Java microservices and responsive ReactJS frontends for wealth and trading workflows. You will work across requirements, design, and production support in a fast-paced financial environment.

You will contribute to microservices architecture, CI/CD practices, and engineering discipline while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise Java/J2EE
• Experience with Agile delivery and full SDLC
• Strong hands-on experience building and deploying microservices using Spring ecosystem technologies
• Hands-on frontend experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch)
• Build and enhance responsive frontend applications using ReactJS and modern JavaScript
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, software engineers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners
• Deliver enhancements across wealth/trading application workflows in a microservices architecture
• Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for business-critical applications
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and release efficiency
• Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, standards adoption, and occasional pair programming
• Proactively improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity
