Job summary

SEDHA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to contribute to a mobile web app/PWA, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infra in an agile DevOps environment.

You will drive end-to-end development, build responsive and secure web applications with ReactNative, and develop robust backend services with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSockets. You will work on DevOps tasks within GCC, ensuring secure coding practices and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years of experience in full-stack web development with demonstrable project experience
• Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development
• Experience with Git and modern branching workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development)
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks and modern UI libraries

Responsibilities

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to contribute to the development of a mobile web application/progressive web app (PWA) as part of our development team. The successful candidate will contribute to the end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure whilst working in an agile, DevOps-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development

• Contribute to end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure
• Develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications
• Implement modern frontend architectures using ReactNative, ensuring reusability, scalability, and security
• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs, ensuring reliability, security, and observability
• Support WhatsApp Business API integration to enable seamless integration between messaging and backend workflow
• Conduct unit and integration testing using modern testing frameworks
• Conduct backend testing and API validation to ensure service reliability
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high software quality standards

DevOps and Deployment

• Utilise SHIP/HATS platforms for secure development, testing, and deployment processes
• Deploy and manage applications within Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) infrastructure

Security and Compliance

• Ensure full-stack security, including authentication, authorization, API security, and frontend security best practices under guidance of Senior Full-Stack Developer
• Implement IM8 security controls and ensure compliance with government security frameworks
• Follow secure coding practices and implement appropriate security measures throughout the development lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with government security and compliance requirements, including data protection and privacy regulations

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years of experience in full-stack web development with demonstrable project experience
• Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development
• Experience with Git and modern branching workflows(GitFlow, trunk-based development)

Frontend Technologies

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with React.js and modern frontend frameworks(Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte)
• Mobile app development using React Native (required for this role)
• Experience with UI component libraries such as Material-UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma)

Backend Technologies

• Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, or NestJS
• Experience with additional backend technologies such asRuby on Rails, Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot), Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), or Golang
• Strong experience in API design principles, including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and WebSockets for service communication
• Knowledge of API rate limiting, caching strategies (Redis, Varnish), and performance optimisations
• Understanding of backend service scalability strategies (horizontal scaling, autoscaling, load balancing)

DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLabCI, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC)environment
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration(Docker, Kubernetes)

Security and Monitoring

• Strong knowledge of frontend security (CSP, CORS, XSS prevention)
• Experience with backend security (OAuth, JWT, API rate limiting, encryption)
• Understanding of IM8 security policies and government compliance frameworks
• Experience implementing application performance monitoring(APM) tools (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• Knowledge of logging frameworks (ELK Stack, Loki, Fluentd)to track and debug issues across distributed systems

Testing and Quality

• Experience with unit and integration testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Pact)
• Backend testing using Postman, Supertest, contract testing
• Understanding of automated testing practices andtest-driven development
