Mavericks Consulting PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior software engineer in Singapore to join a fast-moving, high-performance team. You will contribute to full-stack development using modern practices, collaborating with professionals to deliver business-critical systems.

You will be empowered to own features, apply TDD and CI/CD, and continuously improve code quality while engaging in a learning-driven environment. This role is based in Singapore with strong visa support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience in diverse applications.
• Experience in cross-functional Agile teams using Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP.
• Strong emphasis on clean code, test automation and readable, maintainable code.
• Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture and delivering large-scale projects.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Empathising with stakeholders to develop appropriate, actionable and holistic working solutions that delivers business value
• Championing best Agile and software engineering practices (e.g. Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.) to develop high-quality products and solutions

The Qualifications To Be a Maverick

1. Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in developing various applications
• Worked in high performance and cross-functional Agile software engineering teams that used practices like Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.
• Experienced in using clean code practices, test automation and writing readable, maintainable code
• Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture
• Delivered at least one large-scale project to production
• Experienced in backend and frontend development (e.g. Web, Mobile, Cloud, etc.)
• Deep understanding of at least one programming language and at least one programming paradigm (OOP, FP)
• Experience working with various techstacks (e.g. Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, AngularJS, Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, Java, GoLang, etc.)

2. Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with DevOps practices and Automation tools
