Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable digital applications for public sector and enterprise transformation initiatives.

You will work with product managers, designers, architects, business analysts, and DevOps to deliver web and cloud solutions across frontend and backend, APIs, and services throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in software application development across frontend and backend technologies.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript or TypeScript development.
Experience developing web applications using React or similar frontend frameworks.
Experience developing backend services using Node.js or similar backend technologies.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integration concepts.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Git and source control.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications and digital services.
Build responsive front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
Develop secure, scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
Collaborate with product owners, analysts, designers, and technical teams to translate requirements.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations with internal and external platforms.
Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical reviews.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes to ensure system stability and performance.
Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support user acceptance testing activities.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure applications comply with security, governance, and quality standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and best engineering practices.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and deployment procedures.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing digital applications supporting public sector and enterprise transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, architects, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to deliver user-centric digital solutions across web and cloud platforms.

This role involves developing both front-end and back-end components, integrating systems and APIs, and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.
