Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to join its full stack data platform team. This role involves building scalable applications and services that support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language is essential.
• Experience with frontend frameworks is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain full stack applications interfacing with data platforms.
• Develop APIs to support data access, processing, and orchestration.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate applications with data pipelines.

Skills

Backend language proficiency (Python, Java, Go, Rust)

Frontend frameworks experience (React, Vue)

Understanding of system design

Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

Communication skills
