Job summary

Ei-Biz Management Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to handle bookkeeping and maintain full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients, using AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks and other software.

You will prepare accounting records, GST returns and reconciliations, liaise with clients, and assist auditors. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting or Finance, has at least two years of relevant experience, and can communicate in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Able to handle full sets of accounts independently.
• Familiar with GST return preparation and filing requirements.
• Experience with AutoCount, Xero and/or QuickBooks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
• Accounting firm experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping and maintain full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounting records using AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Prepare quarterly GST returns and ensure timely GST submissions
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable reconciliations and accounts payable reconciliations
• Liaise with clients to obtain accounting records and resolve accounting-related queries
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents required by auditors
• Follow up with clients on outstanding documents and accounting matters
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Assist supervisors in accounting, GST and other ad-hoc assignments
