AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to maintain full sets of accounts, manage month-end closings, and support the finance team in Singapore. The role requires GST filing knowledge, Chinese-language liaison, and strong MS Excel and NetSuite skills.

You will interact with auditors, tax agents and multiple stakeholders while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Accountancy or related field.
5+ years of accounting and month-end experience.
GST filing experience and ability to liaise with auditors.
Ability to read Chinese for liaison with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Excel and NetSuite.
Strong attention to detail and deadline management.
Good organisational and communication skills; collaborative.

Responsibilities

Maintain full sets of accounts for multiple entities (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, intercompany, month-end closing).
Prepare and file GST returns and support auditors during the annual audit.
Assist with cash flow monitoring, payment planning and processing against budgets.
Review invoices and quotations and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
Prepare monthly management reports and financial schedules.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and statutory requirements.
Liaise with internal teams, auditors, tax agents, banks and other stakeholders.
