Solstad Management Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Accountant for our Singapore office, reporting to the Finance Manager. The role covers month-end entries, P&L analysis, GST returns, NetSuite data transfers, and support for audits and budgets.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA/CA qualification with at least 5 years of accounting experience, and proficient Excel skills. Experience in the oil and gas sector is desirable; strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualificações

• Relevant tertiary qualification required; CPA/CA part or full qualification preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare full month-end accounting entries, journals, accruals, prepayments and recharges.
• Prepare P&L statements and analyze monthly budget vs. actual.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support audit processes.
• Handle GST returns quarterly and NetSuite data transfer; raise client invoices when needed.
• Assist in year-end income tax returns and budget compilation; support DoS Singapore survey.

A vacancy currently exists for Accountant role within the FinanceDepartment in our Singapore office. Reporting to Finance manager.

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of full month end accounting entries; month end Journals, recharges, accruals, prepayments etc.
• Preparation of Profit and Loss statements and analysis of monthly budget vs actual
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly GST returns
• Transfer vendor invoices to NetSuite
• Assist the Senior accountant in raising invoices to clients when needed
• Assist during Audit
• Assist during budget time in compiling information for budget
• Assist in preparation of annual income tax returns
• Assist in survey (mandatory) by the Department of Statistics Singapore

The successful applicant will have the following skills & experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification, CPA/CA part/fully Qualified.
• At least 5 years of experience as an accountant
• High level of attention to detail, analytical ability, and proven technical accounting skills
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize and meetdeadlines
• Excellent communication and inter-personnel skills

Desirable Skills and requirements:

• Previous experience in Oil and Gas sector
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software
