Job summary

VISION DISPLAY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full accounting function and maintain accurate financial records for the company.

The role covers AP/AR/GL, journal entries, bank reconciliations, month-end/year-end closes, and GST submissions. You will prepare financial statements and support audit activities while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proficient knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and GST requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) to ensure accurate financial data.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments to maintain up-to-date accounting records.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify cash balances and transactions.
• Conduct revenue and sales reconciliations to ensure accuracy of reported income.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to produce timely financial statements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports to support business decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in cash flow planning to maintain financial stability.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit GST returns, ensuring compliance with Singapore GST regulations.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation for audit readiness.
• Liaise with external auditors by providing audit schedules and necessary documentation.
• Assist with annual audit and year-end financial matters to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and payment issues to optimize cash collection.
• Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned by management to support business operations.
