Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a skilled frontend engineer to join the Global Payment Web and Client team in Singapore. You will build global consumer digital wallets and payment products, participate in system design, and collaborate across product design, management and engineering to deliver efficient, secure cross-platform web experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing frontend web applications.
• Strong frontend experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS, skilled in common web platforms such as React/Vue/Angular, and have good practice and understanding of common web compilation and bundling frameworks, including Webpack/Rollup/Babel/AST.
• Have solid experience in implementing web applications with high performance, high availability, and excellent user experience.
• Good problem solving skills and thinking patterns in web-based system design.

Responsibilities

• Build global consumer digital wallets and payment products to support global ecosystem business and users. As part of the international payment team, participate in system design, research and development, technological innovation, etc;
• Build payment products for consumer users and cross platform products based on Web technology, including mobile and PC products;
• Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to drive business success in efficiency and safety;
• Keep at the forefront of emerging web-based technologies and trends, research and evaluate the latest web development frameworks, apply new technologies to drive iterative product improvements.
