Job summary

Neutron in Singapore is seeking a skilled frontend developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive and accessible web components that deliver excellent user experiences.

You will translate UI/UX designs into intuitive interfaces, implement frontend best practices, and ensure security and performance. Experience with Vue.js, Storybook, CI/CD, and AWS is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years in frontend development and engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Vue.js / Vue Framework (and any other design frameworks such as React and Angular).
• Good understanding of modern frontend architecture, reusable components and responsive web development.
• Experience translating UI/UX designs into intuitive, responsive and accessible user interfaces; familiarity with WCAG.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including code quality, testing, maintainability and performance.
• Adherence to software craftsmanship principles, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Experience implementing and/or managing CI/CD pipelines and frontend build/deployment processes.
• Experience developing, deploying or operating web applications on cloud platforms (e.g. AWS).
• Experience using Storybook for UI component development and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Platform Operations

• Collaborate with Project/Product teams to refine user stories and translate them into technical requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and accessible web components that deliver excellent user experiences.
• Implement and enforce frontend best practices, including component reusability, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Ensure frontend security best practices, including protection against XSS, CSRF, and other vulnerabilities. This includes integrating static code analysis and application security testing tools (e.g., SonarQube, Fortify on Demand) into the development workflow, as well as supporting broader security assessments such as web vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and cloud infrastructure penetration tests.
• Document technical decisions, architectural patterns, and frontend best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills
