Job summary

Givaudan in Singapore seeks a Process Technician at the Pioneer Encapsulation Plant for a 1-year contract. You will operate chemical production equipment to produce fragrance products, following quality policies to meet deadlines and safety standards.

Reporting to Production Manager, you will perform commissioning and qualification activities, select materials, run production lines, conduct in-process testing, document results, perform maintenance, and ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA and

Qualifications

• GCE O/N Level or equivalent required.
• NITEC / Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or manufacturing related required.
• Secondary level with related pharmaceutical/chemical/manufacturing experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and qualification activities.
• Independently operate designated chemical production machines and equipment.
• Select intermediates or raw materials and load into production machines.
• Perform in-process quality testing and document deviations per SOPs.
• Understand bill of materials and ensure proper quantities and sequence.
• Manufacture product safely according to process instructions to meet quality standards.
• Read control instruments and maintain neat operation records.
• Perform maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and propose corrections.
• Prepare product packaging for next step or shipment as per department specs.
• Maintain clean shop floor and complete sanitation duties.
• Follow GMP, OSHA and internal safety guidelines.
• Provide on-the-job training for new operators.
