Job summary

Ambition is seeking a senior leader for the central finance function to drive planning, budgeting, and financial insights. You will lead a team of finance professionals, partner with senior stakeholders, and build capability across finance leads and business partners embedded in departments.

You will oversee budgeting consolidation, allocate resources to strategic areas, and drive continuous improvement in finance processes with SAP HANA and Workday, while mentoring the team for high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy required.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must.
• Minimum 15 years of FP&A and budgeting experience, including supervisory experience in an MNC.
• Solid knowledge of audit administration.
• Experience with SAP HANA and Workday is advantageous.

Job description

This is a senior leadership role within the central finance function. Key Responsibilities

Planning & Budgeting

• Lead the coordination and consolidation of the organisation-wide budget, including departmental budgets managed through cluster leads and finance partners
• Plan and allocate resources to areas that contribute most to long-term goals

Business Partnering & Insights

• Support capital and strategic initiatives with financial modelling
• Collaborate with other corporate functions, including HR on manpower planning, to deliver financial insights that support organisational goals
• Benchmark best practices, understand internal finance processes and drive continuous improvement

Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
• Coach finance leads and partners to raise functional expertise and performance standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in FP&A and budgeting, including supervisory experience in MNC
• Solid knowledge and experience in audit administration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with SAP HANA and Workday, including reporting or diagnostics, is advantageous
