Job summary

FairPrice Group is seeking a seasoned FP&A/Finance Business Partner in Singapore to drive operation efficiency and support forecasting and budgeting. You will review monthly P&L, present variances, and provide insights on trends across revenue, costs, and capex.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting/Finance with CA qualification and at least 5 years in FP&A, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Retail/FMCG experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of FP&A or finance business partnering experience.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Retail or FMCG experience desired but not essential.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) & SAP FI.
• Team player, eager to learn, self-motivated and customer oriented.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide insights highlighting trends and variances in revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capex.
• Partner with stakeholders to forecast and budget expenses, track actuals vs targets.
• Maintain regular communication with departments to align operational plans and financial targets.
• Conduct feasibility studies, business case preparation and evaluation.
• Review key CAPEX and OPEX spends and prepare projections for reporting.

• Review monthly profit and loss (P&L) and financial presentation packages for Management
• Analyze, summarize, and present monthly results and variances to Departments
• Provide insights highlighting trends and variances in key performance indicators, including all revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
• Partner closely with key stakeholders to support forecasting and budgeting of expenses, as well as tracking of actuals vs. targets.
• Maintain regular communication with departments to align operational plans and financial targets.
• Feasibility studies, business case preparation and evaluation.
• Review key CAPEX and OPEX spends and prepare projection for reporting.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA) (or equivalent)
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience related to FP&A or finance business partnering
• Strong in analytical skills, business acumen and strategic thinking
• Experience in Retail or FMCG industry preferred but not essential
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Excel, PowerPoint) & SAP FI
• A team player, eager to learn, self-motivated and customer oriented.
