Job summary

Ambition Singapore is seeking a senior finance leader to helm the central finance function. You will lead a team of finance professionals, translate long-term objectives into clear financial plans, and partner with senior stakeholders across the business to drive performance.

You will also build capability of finance leads and business partners embedded in departments, overseeing planning and budgeting, and coaching teams to elevate analytical rigor and strategic insight across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy is required.
• CA qualification is a must.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant FP&A and budgeting experience, including supervisory experience in an MNC.
• Experience with audit administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and consolidation of organisation-wide budgets with cluster leads and finance partners.
• Provide financial modelling to support capital and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR on manpower planning and deliver insights to support organisational goals.

Job description

This is a senior leadership role within the central finance function. Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Budgeting

• Lead the coordination and consolidation of the organisation‑wide budget, including departmental budgets managed through cluster leads and finance partners
• Plan and allocate resources to areas that contribute most to long‑term goals

Business Partnering & Insights

• Support capital and strategic initiatives with financial modelling
• Collaborate with other corporate functions, including HR on manpower planning, to deliver financial insights that support organisational goals
• Benchmark best practices, understand internal finance processes and drive continuous improvement

Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
• Coach finance leads and partners to raise functional expertise and performance standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in FP&A and budgeting, including supervisory experience in MNC
• Solid knowledge and experience in audit administration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Experience with SAP HANA and Workday, including reporting or diagnostics, is advantageous
