Role: FP&A Analyst
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an FP&A Analyst to join the Corporate Planning team. This role combines financial planning and analysis responsibilities with involvement in business improvement and digital enablement initiatives. The successful candidate will gain regional exposure and work closely with management and stakeholders across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning exercises for Singapore and regional entities.
- Consolidate and prepare submissions for Head Office.
- Support monthly financial closing activities and management reporting requirements.
- Perform budget versus actual variance analysis and provide insights on business performance.
- Maintain budget, forecast, and KPI tracking models.
- Conduct financial analysis, business performance reviews, and ad hoc reporting.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with departments and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and analyse relevant information.
- Support management decision-making through financial assessments and analytical reviews.
- Monitor financial risks and opportunities across assigned business areas.
Digital Enablement & Process Improvement
- Participate in workflow digitisation and process improvement initiatives.
- Support automation, dashboard development, and reporting enhancement projects.
- Assist in the adoption of approved AI, Business Intelligence, and data analytics solutions.
Audit & Reporting Support
- Assist in financial reporting activities and audit requirements.
- Prepare reconciliations, audit schedules, supporting documentation, and data validation exercises.
- Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting experience.
- Strong understanding of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and accounting fundamentals.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working in a regional and multicultural environment.
