Job summary

ContexQ in Singapore seeks a Founding Knowledge Graph Scientist to architect a high-throughput graph AI engine for AML and fraud detection. Lead the design of knowledge graphs and Graph Transformer models to reveal hidden patterns in large financial datasets.

You will advance explainable AI to meet global banking regulations, publish breakthroughs, and directly contribute to the platform's core capabilities. Equity up to $2M USD aligns incentives with enterprise impact.

Qualifications

• PhD required with heavy research focus on graphs or graph transformers.
• Deep expertise in graph analytics for anomaly detection in financial crime or cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to translate AI theory into production-grade code (PyTorch, PyTorch Geometric, DGL).
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect large-scale financial knowledge graphs capturing complex relationships.
• Develop, train, and deploy Graph Neural Networks and Graph Transformers for imbalanced data.
• Build explainable AI mechanisms for compliance and governance.
