Nas.com is building two complementary AI products around one idea: AI should do the work required to grow a business, not only answer questions. We are seeking a Founding Data Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of our data platform.

You will inherit production pipelines, data models and a data warehouse, stabilize what is working, fix what is not, and rebuild components where necessary. This is a founding role, defining the next generation of our data platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Experience building production data infrastructure in fast-moving environments.
• Strong fundamentals in data modeling and production data systems.
• Pragmatic technology choices with responsibility for quality, reliability, usability, cost, and maintenance.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and own outcomes.
• Experience using AI in engineering workflows.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the data platform end to end.
• Design reusable data models and metrics.
• Make data accessible to Product, Finance, Operations, Engineering, leadership, analysts, and AI systems.
• Build customer-facing data products and context layers for agents.
• Go beyond fulfilling requests by investigating business drivers and opportunities.
