Job summary

Sonar is launching Customer Success Engineering, a foundational role on AI-driven code verification governance. As a founding CSE, you’ll shape the playbook and act as a proactive technical advisor managing onboarding, adoption, health, and value realization for a diverse customer portfolio.

You’ll translate AI-driven signals into concrete actions, drive growth, and defuse risks, while guiding customers to maximize platform value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in DevOps, software engineering, or platform roles.
• Ability to translate AI risks into business actions.
• Clear, assertive communication to developers and executives.
• Strong analytical ability across data sources.
• Founding-team energy with ownership and resilience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Bonus: experience with SonarQube, SAST/AppSec tooling, or developer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio: be the trusted technical advisor across the full journey—onboarding, adoption, health, value realization.
• Act on signals: AI surfaces risks and opportunities; translate into outcomes to drive growth and reduce risk.
• Level customers up: lead maturity assessments and outcome reviews.
• Turn priorities into plans: translate customer priorities into clear technical plans.
• Fuel the wider team: hand off expansion signals and renewal insights to Sales.
