Job summary

RED ALPHA CYBERSECURITY is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers. You will discover, design and build production solutions spanning Python, APIs, data pipelines and AI-enabled workflows.

You will deploy with Docker and cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot live environments, and guide customers from discovery to handoff. You will lead technical conversations, translate requirements into actionable plans, and ensure secure, observable, and maintainable

Qualifications

Hands-on Python and backend engineering experience with production systems.
Experience designing APIs and data workflows for production use.
Familiarity with AI/LLM workflows and data access.
Security-conscious and capable of operating in customer environments.
Experience with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with customers to understand workflows, constraints, data, security boundaries and success criteria.
Translate customer problems into technical requirements, acceptance criteria and implementation plans.
Design and build production solutions across Python, APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines and AI-enabled workflows.
Deploy solutions securely using Docker, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure; monitor and troubleshoot production issues.
Explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Produce architecture diagrams, documentation and operator runbooks; ensure operability and handover.
