Job summary

The role collaborates with Formulations, Finishing, QC, and R&D to optimize inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and improve throughput; strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–3 years of production planning and scheduling experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP database query/navigation.
• Strong problem-solving skills applied to production and formulation challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams.
• Flexibility to manage frequently changing priorities in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate finished goods and intermediate jobs to meet specs and labeling requirements.
• Collaborate with Formulations, Finishing, QC, and R&D on inventory, service, and quality.
• Own problem jobs by documenting actions and tracking progress to leadership.
• Analyze returns, adjustments, and first pass quality issues for improvements.
• Maintain inventory records and track usage including bulking and damage.
• Develop new department reports to support data-driven decisions.
• Lead initiatives to maximize production capacity and reduce late orders.
• Be available off-shift and weekends for adjustments and problem resolution.
• Create and manage manufacturing schedules and orders for production needs.
• Support Kalamazoo Finishing Center during the 3rd shift.
• Collaborate with CI team to maintain live planning tool for Singapore operations.
• Assist Customer Experience with order fulfillment.
