Job summary

Enterprise Singapore's Food Technology Innovation and Startup Development team drives Singapore's food manufacturing and agritech sectors by partnering with stakeholders to foster innovation, support financing, and anchor high-potential startups in Singapore.

We seek Development Partner or Senior Development Partner to lead screening and development of foodtech startups, while building programmes with ecosystem partners to strengthen the local startup ecosystem and industry collaboration.

Qualifications

• Background in food science and technology, agrifood innovation, or a related scientific discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and develop high-potential foodtech startups; engage industry, research and investor stakeholders.
• Develop and implement venture creation support for R&D spinoffs with founder matching and capability building.
• Develop programmes with ecosystem partners to assess technical merit and commercial potential aligned with EnterpriseSG objectives.
• Account-manage local food manufacturing companies; support growth through innovation, internationalisation and productivity initiatives.
• Support talent and leadership development in food manufacturing and foodtech to build organisational capabilities.
