Job summary

Enterprise Singapore's Food Manufacturing & Agritech Division drives the development of Singapore's food manufacturing and agrifood technology sectors, partnering with stakeholders to foster innovation, commercialisation and internationalisation of foodtech companies.

The team identifies high-potential startups, supports venture creation with research institutes, and collaborates with ecosystem partners to upgrade local manufacturers and build market-ready capabilities.

Qualifications

• Background in food science, agrifood innovation, or related science.
• Ability to assess technical feasibility and commercial viability of proposals.
• Experience in programme or project management with multiple workstreams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking to synthesize complex information.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support work identifying and developing high-potential foodtech startups.
• Develop venture creation support with research institutes for founder matching and capability building.
• Develop programmes with ecosystem partners to assess technical merit and commercial potential.
• Account-manage local food manufacturing companies to upgrade capabilities and drive growth.
• Support talent and leadership development in food manufacturing and foodtech.
