Job summary

NTUC FairPrice Co-Operative Ltd is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to lead the review and continual improvement of the Food Safety Management System across its retail network in Singapore.

You will plan audits of food courts, hawker centers, cafes and outlets, manage sampling and environmental monitoring, investigate incidents, and develop training for staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding public health.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in food science, food technology, or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000 is advantageous.
• Ability to collate and analyze basic statistics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work across multiple retail outlets.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance the Food Safety Management System in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Plan and conduct food safety and hygiene audits across food courts, cafes, hawker centers and restaurants.
• Manage sampling and environmental monitoring programs.
• Investigate customer feedback and incidents with root-cause analysis and CAPA.
• Deliver food safety training plans for retail staff.
• Monitor and strengthen food safety workflows and controls; support WSH compliance.
• Undertake ad hoc cross-functional projects to strengthen safety and regulatory readiness.
