FairPrice Group is seeking a Food Safety Auditor to lead the continual enhancement of our FSMS across Singapore’s retail outlets. You will plan and conduct audits in food courts, hawker centers, cafes and restaurants to verify compliance with regulations and internal standards.

You will manage sampling and environmental monitoring, investigate customer feedback and incidents, and deliver training to retail staff to uphold high hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or related discipline with 3–5 years' experience.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 or any Food Safety Management System.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities with attention to detail.
• Motivated, results-oriented and proactive learner.
• Able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and perform basic statistical collation.

Responsabilités

• Execute the review, monitoring, and continual enhancement of the FSMS in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust controls for food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and conduct comprehensive food safety and hygiene audits across food courts, coffeeshops, hawker centers, cafes and restaurants.
• Manage food sampling and environmental monitoring programmes to verify microbiological compliance and strengthen sanitation and process controls.
• Investigate customer feedback, complaints, and food safety incidents with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop, schedule, coordinate, and deliver food safety training plans for retail staff.
• Monitor, evaluate, and strengthen food safety workflows, policies, and control measures as part of continual improvement.
• Support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) compliance through basic audits and safety culture initiatives.

Description du poste

• Execute the review, monitoring, and continual enhancement of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in close collaboration with internal & external stakeholders, ensuring robust controls are in place to safeguard food safety, protect public health, and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Plan and conduct comprehensive food safety and hygiene audits across food courts, coffeeshops, hawker centers, cafes and restaurants, to verify compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and best practices, and to proactively identify & mitigate food safety risks.
• Manage food sampling and environmental monitoring programmes to verify microbiological compliance, detect potential contamination hazards at an early stage, and strengthen the effectiveness of sanitation, hygiene, and process controls essential to safe retail operations.
• Conduct thorough investigation of customer feedback, complaints, and food safety incidents, providing timely technical assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive recommendations to resolve issues effectively, prevent recurrence, and protect company’s reputation as a trusted brand.
• Develop, schedule, coordinate, and deliver food safety training plans for retail staff to ensure operational personnel are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and discipline required to uphold critical food safety and hygiene standards in daily operations.
• Monitor, evaluate, and strengthen food safety workflows, policies, and control measures as part of the continual improvement process, ensuring that systems remain resilient, audit-ready, and responsive to evolving operational, microbiological, and regulatory risks.
• Support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) compliance efforts by conducting basic WSH audits of retail outlets, reinforcing a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational accountability across the organisation.
• Undertake ad hoc duties, cross-functional projects, and assignments that contribute to strengthening food safety assurance, regulatory preparedness, risk management, and the organisation’s overall commitment to safe and sustainable retail operations.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Process Technology, Biotechnology or related disciplines with 3-5 years relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 or any Food Safety Management System will be advantageous.
