Job summary

AL-BIDAYAHH SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on kitchen assistant to support daily operations in our Singapore kitchen.

You will wash, peel, chop, slice and mix ingredients according to SOPs and recipes, and help with basic cooking tasks under supervision. You will portion and package items to meet presentation and quality standards, maintain cleanliness, and assist with deliveries, stock rotation and inventory. Strict adherence to HACCP, WSH and local food hygiene guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or kitchen duties preferred.
• Knowledge of basic hygiene and safety practices.
• Able to follow SOPs and recipes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: wash, peel, chop, slice, and mix ingredients according to SOPs and recipes.
• Cooking Support: operate basic kitchen equipment and assist with cooking tasks under direction.
• Plating & Portioning: portion, assemble, and package items to meet quality standards.
• Kitchen Sanitation: clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
• Inventory & Stock Management: receive deliveries, rotate stock, check expiry dates, and assist with stock-taking.
• Safety & Compliance: adhere to local food hygiene, HACCP, and WSH guidelines.
