Job summary

JZF ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a tiling assistant in Singapore to support tile installations and material preparation. You will prepare mortars, cut tiles, and help arrange tiles and marble according to design plans.

The role involves loading/unloading supplies, following safety procedures, and working in shifts as needed to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in tiling preparation and layout.
• Willingness to work in shifts and travel as needed.
• Ability to follow design plans and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply mortar to tile backs, position tiles, press and tap with trowel handle to affix tiles.
• Prepare mortar and cut tiles to assist mechanics in installation.
• Arrange tiles or marble according to design plans and apply adhesives.
• Load and unload tiling supplies and gather equipment as required.

Job description

• Apply mortar to tile back, position the tile, press and tap with trowel handle to affix tile to base.
• Assist the mechanics in the installation of ceramic tiles by preparing mortar and cutting tiles.
• Prepare and apply mortar or other adhesives to install tile and marble in a plan area.
• Ordering stock supplies and gathering tiling equipment.
