Job summary

BEST CASA PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced tiler to align and install tiles across residential and commercial spaces in Singapore.

The role involves cutting, polishing, and finishing granite and marble, preparing surfaces, and creating decorative mosaic designs. You will follow blueprints, ensure safety, and meet tight deadlines while coordinating with the team. Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to lift heavy tiles, and able to work on construction sites with accurate measurements and

Responsibilities

• Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise.
• Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly.
• Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles.
• Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base.
• Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled.
• Ensure teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
• Monitor renovation processes, and provide materials and team building sessions as required.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Cut tiles and shape them properly to fit around obstacles and in tight corners using tools.
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, cement, glue or mortar with screeds, brushes and trowels.
• Load & unload of material/products.
• Prepare delivery of goods to customers.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
• Prepare delivery of goods to construction sites.
• Must be physically fit to carry heavy tiles and materials.
• Must be physically fit to hack floor wall tiles.

• Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly
• Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
• Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles
• Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs
• Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
• Monitoring renovation processes, and providing materials and team building sessions are required.
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels
• Loading & Unloading of material/products
• Prepare Delivery of goods to customers
